Patricia did an excellent job of getting rid of most of our 30+ years of extra stuff. She took 5 or 6 minivan loads of stuff to Goodwill, bagged up dozens of black contractor bags full of trash, and turned our near hoarder piles of stuff into nice minimal organized areas.
